f88-4 15-mer linear
f88-4 linear peptide phage display library (15-mer)
The f88-4 15-mer peptide phage display library is built from the f88-4 filamentous phage vector ( AF218363.1 ) by replacing a synthetic 21 bp stuffer sequence with frame-restoring 45 bp random oligo nucleotides. The resulting phage particles express the wild-type gene VIII and an artificial gene rVIII. The 15-mer foreign peptide insert is expressed on rVIII. The f88-4 phage display libraries maintain E. coli infectivity and do not require a helper phage for assembly and release of virions.
